Superintendent's Message
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as Superintendent of the Tuscarora School District. This community has shaped me both personally and professionally for nearly two decades. From my first day as an elementary teacher to now, leading our district, I’ve been inspired by the dedication of our teachers, our students, and the strength of our community.
Tuscarora is more than a collection of schools; it’s a family. Our families, teachers, and staff hold the important answers to helping students succeed. I plan on listening, connecting, and leading in a way that unites us around a shared vision for the future, one where every child is supported, challenged, and celebrated.
For the 2025–2026 school year, our focus centers on three key goals:
-
Supporting and retaining great teachers, ensuring that those who dedicate their lives to education are nurtured, valued, and empowered to grow.
-
Promoting academic excellence by strengthening foundational reading and math skills so every student is fully prepared for what comes next.
-
Improving systems and communication, so families, students, and staff can access the information and support they need without confusion or delay.
Our mission is simple: to make Tuscarora a place where people want to live, learn, and grow, a place that fills our students with pride and our community with confidence.
As I once was taught and share with Tuscarora, “You get better or worse every day, you never stay the same.” Each day brings an opportunity to make a difference, to lift others up, and to move our district forward together.
Let’s make it our best — YES! YES! YES!
